I wanna get an ipod touch, but I want to be able to play iphone apps on it, like the t pain app w/ autotune, etc. Whether it’s jailbroken or not, can I play any or all iphone apps on an ipod touch???
If not, is there a way to jailbreak it specifically so I can??

Most of the app store apps can be used on either the iPhone or iTouch.

So I tried installing Mac OSX on my pc, and it works, but the network card wont work on the Mac side, so I don’t have internet on the Mac side, and that wont be acceptable cause I will NEED internet. So is there some way to run the iPhone App Development kit on my pc?

short answer.. no.. trust me i have tried…. Mac OS is not compatible in anyway with Windows.. apple haven’t released a pc windows version of the SDK so for now we cant do anything

one idea.. download the setup files on your pc side and then launch them on your mac side.. simple

before the apps update came out for the ipod touch and iphone i had my ipod touch jailbroken. there was this really nice app that was perfect for working out and mowing the lawn and stuff like that. you would play what ever playlist you wanted, go the the home page, select the app and what was great about it was that you could just slide your finger from left to right anywhere across the screen and it would go to the next song. and to turn the volume up and down, you just slide your finger up or down anywhere on the screen. is there anything like this in the itunes app store?

Apps in the app store do not have access to your iPod music library, so no. However, in the 3.0 update for the touch and iPhone, apps will have access to it, and you may see an app like that coming out.

I have found quite a useful application called Lists.

It allows you to create a folder of anything you want

Example this might be it

Shopping List
Back to school Items

And then you click on which ever one you want, shopping list in this case and then there are all of the items you need to buy. (You add them) And it would be the same for Back to School Items.

This application is very useful, for anything!

And it costs £0.59

Just have a look, type in lists in the application search, some others will come up as well, have a look!

I have just Updated my iphone and i did not know that you can not download free apps without putting in card details. Is there anyother way to do this. For instance Can you buy apps from the app store using an itunes gift card? If so how? Thanks

If they are on your iPhone, just plug it back in and click "Transfer Purchases" from the File menu. If they arn’t, all apps that you buy from Apple are free to download again with the same account, so you could just re-download them to you’re computer for free.
